Irvine Finch River

East of Orland on the Sacramento River, you will find Irvine Finch River Access Park.  

This is the only facility in Northern California specially designed to provide recreation activites. 

Recreation uses available at the Irvine Finch River Access include boat, kayak, canoe, camping, picnicking, and fishing. View information on the official  Ca State Park Website.

Black Butte Lake

Black Butte Lake is located just 8 miles West of Orland and provides the following activities: 

Relax while fishing. boating, swimming and camping. Bring the family for a day of hiking and picknicking.

Golfing

The links golf course is located at Rolling Hills Casino just off I-5 in Corning.

This is a John Daly Signature, 18-hole championship golf course. Golf Week magazine named The Links at Rolling Hills Casino and Resort as “best casino golf course”.

Stop by the clubhouse from 6am - 7:30 am daily. Enjoy a round of golf or practice your swing.

Fishing

Hunting

You will find hunting at its best in and around the surrounding area. Visit the Clear Creek Sports Club a 1,400 acre ranch at Rolling Hills Casino Corning, 

This is a wildlife oasis for upland game birds, waterfowl, turkey, and dove. There is fishing also available on the ranch in the 65 acre lake for Trophy Trout.

Sacramento Wildlife Refuge

located about 70 miles north of Sacramento and 7 miles south of the town of Willows. The refuge consists of 10,819 acres primarily of wetlands, with some grasslands and riparian habitats.

The Wildlife refuge is open daily from one-hour before sunrise to one-hour after sunset. Numerous recreational opportunities are available including the popular six-mile auto tour and two walking trails.
